Payment & Cancellation Policies
1.Cancellation Policy for Small Bookings/Short Stay Bookings
- Bookings made 22 days or more before your arrival date:
A 15% deposit is charged at the time of booking, the remaining 85% balance will be automatically charged to your card 21 days before arrival. If your final 85% payment fails you will receive an email within 3 days asking you pay your balance. Failure to pay your balance at this stage may result in your booking being cancelled and your deposit retained. - Bookings made 0 to 21 days before your arrival date:
If you book with less than 21 days until your stay then 100% of fees will be charged to your card and the fees are non-refundable. - If you cancel your booking more than 21 days before your stay, we will endeavour to provide you with a refund of any deposit payment already made. If you cancel your booking less than 21 days before your stay the stay is non refundable.
- To avoid disappointment, please source an appropriate travel insurance to cover any potential financial losses due to cancellation.
2. Cancellation Policy for Large Bookings/Long Stays/Exclusive Use Bookings
- If canceled 150 days or more prior to booking start date the 25% deposit is refunded
- If canceled between 60 days and 149 days prior to booking start date the 25% deposit is retained
- No refund for cancellations made less than 60 days prior to booking start date
3. Cancellation Policy for Some Event Bookings
- Bookings for the Heartland Festival 2026 are fully Non Refundable. These bookings cannot be moved another date but you can pass the booking on to someone else who is attending the festival.
Campsite Booking Policy
- By booking you accept and are bound by the campsite rules.
- At least one person in your booking staying overnight must be aged 18 or over
- Groups of more than 2 pitches together or of more that 6 people (even if booked separately) should contact the campsite and inform the campsite of the purpose of their gathering
prior to arrival. Depending on the size of the group and the purpose of the group attending the campsite, management reserves the right to cancel and refuse bookings. If a group has booked separately and turns out to be a group on arrival and they have not been in contact with the campsite about it in advance of their arrival, management reserves the right to ask them to leave and cancel their bookings without refund.
- Access codes will be emailed the morning of your arrival. If you haven't received them, contact campsite@grandtully.scot
- Arrival: Your pitch will be available from 3pm on arrival day.
- Departure: Please vacate your pitch on departure day by 12 noon
