Grandtully
Grandtully,
(pronounced Grant'ly) is a small village that caters well for visitors.
The campsite is a couple of minutes walk to the village. In Grandtully you can find:

- Grandtully Hotel (serves food)
- Strathtay Stores - Local store for essentials
- Highland Chocolatier and Cafe
- Strathtay Golf Course
- The Rafting Company - Outdoor activity provider right on our doorstep! Book ahead online to avoid disappointment.
There is also a path over the hill to Pitlochry, making Grandtully one of the best connected locations for walking, cycling, and horse riding.
Nearest Towns
Aberfeldy is a 10 minute drive, and Pitlochry 15 minutes. Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery which is open throughout the year is nearby, and also Aberfeldy Watermill; a bookshop, café and gallery housed in a listed former watermill.
Outdoor Adventures
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor adventures. There are plenty of local activity providers who can take you canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, abseiling, gorge walking, canyoning, or mountain biking. There are countless walking, running, and cycling routes nearby with the Tay Forest Park being so close by.

Why not try some Packrafting with Packrafting Scotland. Packrafting is fast growing in popularity and is a unique and versatile way to explore the local area.
If you struggle to get a guided session booked then you could go along to Pitlochry which is about 16-20 mins away to do something self guided. There is a place at the edge of Loch Faskally where you can rent boats and paddle boards and self guide around the loch. It's beautiful there and they have a cute wee cafe and some lovely walks around Pitlochry. Here is their website.
If you're looking a bag a Munro or two, the closest one, Schiehallion which is 30 minutes away, also happens to be one of the easiest Munroes to climb! We are 15 miles from Cairngorms National Park and it takes about an hour to get to Glenshee Ski Centre.
